There’s a lot to do here at Moon River Ranch for those whose idea of relaxation also includes fun activities. Here’s a list of what’s happening:

Relax, relax, relax
It should go without saying - but we’ll say it any way. This is a great place to relax!

Horseback Riding
Roam our 550 acres on horseback. Whether you’re an experienced horseman or just want to be "cowboy for a day", we have acres and acres of scenic beauty waiting to be explored.

Carriage rides
Romantic - and fun - our carriage rides are one of the most popular activities we offer.

Swimming pool and spa with waterfall
Relaxing and refreshing, our palm tree surrounded pool will have you thinking you’re on a South Sea Isle - not in the heart of Texas! You will be surrounded by lakes, waterfalls and a country streams and canopied by palm trees.

Hay rides
Grab a pile of friends and pile into a hay wagon for a slow-speed tour of the place.

Fishing
Five miles of river shoreline surround Moon River Ranch and offer anglers plenty of opportunity to catch the big one.

Canoeing/Kayaking
Ply the quiet Brazos and its bronze waters by canoe or kayak. There’s something special about slipping noiselessly through the liquid scenery this majestic river offers. Explore our 10-acre sandy beach island in the Brazos River!

Movie room
Our "ranch theater" puts you into the middle of your favorite movie with a big screen and surround sound.

Paddle boats
View our lakes from the perfect, lazy vantage point - on a paddle boat.

Barn- Recreation room
A lighted dance floor and a super sound system make our "rec room" lots of fun. Also enjoy games like pool and shuffleboard in this facility.

Horsehoes
Texas-style - overlooking waterfalls and lakes.

Beach Party
Have a beach party on a sandy private and secluded beach (with a bar and dancefloor) located on a national landmark where authentic stage coaches once crossed the river.
